Welcome to a special Christmas Eve Experience that was specifically put together with you in mind. If you are reading this, then you received a very special package that directed you to be here. 2020 has been a challenging year for us as a church and has forced us to not gather together. It has been difficult.
Though we couldn’t be together for this worship experience that is usually very special, we still wanted to make it special.
Inside the package
Inside your package, you will find a few items that will bring us together in spirit. Inside will be:
A note for our lead pastor, Joe Brannen.
A bag of “world-famous” sugar cookies that were baked by our Worship Director, Megan Brannen. We are sorry that they are NOT gluten-free, but they oh so delicious.
A special, one of a kind GC Surrey Hills Christmas ornament. These were handmade by several GC Fam – Geni, Whitney, Summer, Sara, Ceeja, and Lucas.
A special craft project that was designed for adults AND children. Nikki and Matt Payne designed, handcrafted, and assembled the pieces for this craft. There are multiple pieces to the craft and you can go here to watch a tutorial on how to enjoy this craft. If you have any loved ones with you, we encourage you to take this as an opportunity to spend with one another, reflecting on God’s goodness in your lives.
Then, there are some small cups that have a small cracker in the bottom and grape juice in the top. We will be taking communion during our Christmas Eve Experience so please have these cups available. If there are not enough cups for your family, you may get any kind of drink and cracker/bread – it doesn’t have to be fancy.
